Our Story
We are a four piece band that arose from the ashes of a few big bands in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina, all four members come from very diverse musical backgrounds, we came together with an eclectic song list that varies from multiple generations and genres.
Member Daniel Skeel on Guitar and Nick Savoyski on drums are both former members of the Greensboro NC based band TCU that toured all over the state and even ventured as far south as Hilton Head, Danny Left TCU a year and a half before the TCU break-up to pursue music as a living in North Myrtle Beach joining the Marsha Morgan Band, a big beach band, and creating a now defunct band Pink Noise. Since then he returned back to the triad and teamed back up with Nick Savoyski to start a new project titled Jukebox Revolver. Due to new bands jumping on the Jukebox band wagon we created, as of Jan 1st 2022 we Officially became Big City.
That being said, once Nick and Danny joined forces again, Jeff Hatley was added to the group on bass, Jeff has an extensive back ground in music and was played stages across the country on both bass and cello, having been an accomplished cello player for the Charlotte Symphony. Lately Big City has been putting the Cello to work as well shinning Jeff's other talent as they been blending cello with some of the current songs to create a truly unique experience.
Last but not least, there is Kelsey Hurley, and accomplished vocalist, having sung with bands stretching far and wide from differing genres and spanning the Carolinas, Kelsey brings a down home approachable feel with a stage presence that instantly resonates with the crowd. Add to that, a vocal power house filled with emotions and unique nuances and the added harmonies from Nick and Danny and you have Big City.....formerly known as Jukebox Revolver
